Lovely Ilford Sportsman 35mm Camera With Case. A Step Back In Time, With Beautifully Aged Patina. Great As A Prop Or As A Collectors Item.

This lovely characterful Ilford’s Sportsman comes with its gorgeous iconic case and instructions manual. Cleaned and tested.

There is a small hairline crack on the back of the camera but this does not effect the use of the camera, merely cosmetic.

Ilford’s Sportsman cameras were a range of viewfinder- and rangefinder-cameras, made for Ilford in Germany by Dacora; the first was introduced in 1957. They were a cheaper alternative to the Kodak Retina and Retinette series for the newly-popular 35mm format at the time. this piece of history is gorgeous works, and has lovely age related patina. A lovely addition to props, displays and collectors.

We check our cameras and use a laser shutters speed tester to check accuracy, light seals and mirror cushions are replaced. the camera is checked for light leaks and lubricated and adjusted prior to shipping on older cameras this may take a day or two but we will keep you updated
